Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Assist the Nurse Manager in leading and supervising the Operating Room nursing staff, including orientation, training, and professional development. Collaborate in developing schedules, monitoring performance, and supporting staffing needs to ensure safe patient-to-staff ratios. Provide hands-on support during surgical procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and perioperative standards. Oversee day-to-day OR operations, including surgical case flow, equipment readiness, and supply management. Ensure strict compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards related to surgical services. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a related healthcare field preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in the Operating Room, with at least 2 years in a charge nurse or supervisory capacity. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) strongly preferred. Why work with us?
