As a Senior Cybersecurity Threat Protection Manager, you will lead complex and impactful projects that enable clients to proactively defend against advanced cyber threats. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives, you will assist them in designing, implementing, and enhancing Microsoft's threat protection ecosystem. Your role will feature technical leadership, client relationship management, and the development of industry best practices. From the start, you will receive support from the broader Risk team to help clients achieve their vision while advancing your career with confidence. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Leading the implementation of Microsoft Threat Protection solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps, and Microsoft Sentinel. Driving practice development and sales initiatives, generating opportunities, crafting client proposals, and closing deals. Consulting with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and security leaders on threat detection, incident response, and transforming security operations. Designing and executing enterprise-wide detection and response strategies aligned with Zero Trust and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks. Overseeing threat modeling, red and purple team exercises, and expert threat hunting activities. Managing extensive security assessments, maturity roadmaps, and engagements focused on regulatory compliance. Leading and mentoring cross-functional teams with diverse expertise on various client engagements. Enhancing business development efforts, including proposal creation, client presentations, and contributing to thought leadership. Staying updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and innovations within Microsoft security to guide client strategies effectively. Your qualifications and technical skills should include: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a relevant field. Certifications such as SC-200, AZ-500, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent certifications are essential. Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, specializing in threat detection and response. Experience leading sales efforts for threat protection professional services, exceeding $3M annually. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including: Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps) Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) A strong understanding of threat intelligence, adversary tactics, and incident response frameworks. Proficiency in KQL, PowerShell, or other scripting languages for automation and threat hunting. Demonstrated success in leading client engagements and managing cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot for Security and AI-driven threat detection. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven expertise in practice development and managing client relationships. Solid project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Excellent service and communication skills, with a history of fostering strong client relationships. A willingness to travel as necessary. The salary range for this position in Chicago, IL is between $187,500 and $312,500. In New York, NY, the salary range is between $202,500 and $337,500.
