Loss Prevention Security Analyst Join us in maintaining the integrity of our operations as we continue to grow our iconic brand! The Loss Prevention Security Analyst is essential in protecting our company assets across our restaurant portfolio. Your contributions will involve managing intrusion and fire alarm systems, monitoring video surveillance, and analyzing POS exception reports. This role drives compliance, supports investigations, and identifies fraud and loss trends to safeguard our people, property, and profits. Key Responsibilities: Monitor POS Activity: Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports, interpret data to uncover irregularities, and identify potential fraud or theft trends across various locations. Maintain Alarm Systems: Oversee service requests, manage alarm codes, and ensure daily compliance in collaboration with General Managers (GMs) and District Managers (DMs). Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly alarm activity reports. Analyze Video Surveillance: Retrieve relevant video clips to assist with internal investigations, workers compensation claims, general liability claims, and law enforcement requests. Keep a log of all external video requests. Document Findings: Create clear reports summarizing alarm activities, video evidence, and POS analyses to aid in decision-making and align with operational goals. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with Operations, HR, Restaurant Accounting, Treasury, Risk Management, and Legal to provide insights that enhance compliance with company policies. Field Visits: Conduct visits to local restaurants to verify security compliance, assist with investigations, and engage with field leadership. Participate in off-site meetings and training as needed. Recommend Preventive Measures: Analyze recurring issues, suggest improvements, and advise management on strategies for minimizing loss and enhancing security. What We Expect From You: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in loss prevention, security operations, fraud analysis, or risk management, preferably in multi-location retail or the restaurant industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting POS data and recognizing fraud/loss patterns. In-depth knowledge of loss prevention practices, fraud detection methods, and security systems operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for effective reporting and documentation. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. High integrity and discretion, capable of handling sensitive information responsibly. Strong collaboration skills for engaging with field leadership, vendors, and law enforcement. A commitment to maintaining technical skills and the ability to prepare and communicate clear, concise reports. Experience with field visits and compliance audits to ensure operational integrity. Expected Work Location: This role is primarily based at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center located at 1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017, with a requirement to work in office at least 4 days a week. Any changes to work location arrangements require managerial approval. Wendy's is committed to the quality of both our food and our employees. The base salary for this role ranges from $63,000 to $107,000 annually, with a bonus target of 7.5% based on company and personal performance. This does not include potential benefits or incentives.
