We are looking for an Associate Director to lead and develop our Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team focused on Uro-Oncology. As part of our passionate team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive scientific exchange and ensure compliance while fostering the growth and development of our MSLs. Key Responsibilities: Field Team Leadership & Operational Excellence: Support the Director in managing the MSL team, set annual objectives, and monitor performance. Provide coaching and ensure compliance with relevant policies. MSL Strategy Execution & Thought Leader Engagement: Develop and execute MSL strategies within Uro-Oncology, engaging key opinion leaders and ensuring MSLs are aligned with business objectives. Training & Development: Identify training needs for the MSL team, ensuring they are equipped with up-to-date knowledge in Uro-Oncology. Intelligence Gathering & KPI Monitoring: Track MSL activities and report on key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams for alignment on medical strategies and support effective scientific communication. Congress & Scientific Meeting Coverage: Ensure medical coverage at congresses and support the capturing of key clinical insights. Scientific Expertise: Maintain high-level knowledge in Uro-Oncology and support the MSL team in communicating complex clinical data. Qualifications: Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) required. 5-7 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including 3 years in an MSL or field-based role. Proven leadership and mentoring experience with MSLs or field-based medical teams. Experience in Uro-Oncology or related areas preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to travel within field medical territories. This position will support the West territory and is based in Parsippany, New Jersey. Why Ferring?
