Loss Prevention Officer

Position Purpose: Join our team as a Loss Prevention Officer, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets by preventing theft and fraud while ensuring a safe and compliant environment in our store. You will utilize various tools and strategies to minimize financial loss for the company. Your Responsibilities Include: Identifying and addressing incidents of theft and fraud. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports to detect suspicious activities. Monitoring physical security within the store and conducting audits of Electronic Article Surveillance. Promoting a culture focused on shrink elimination in the store. Preparing thorough and accurate reports on apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence as necessary. Interacting with law enforcement and potentially testifying in court. Reporting unsafe conditions to management and maintaining safety standards to protect yourself, coworkers, and customers. Responding to asset protection concerns from staff while focusing on meeting business objectives.
