Field Technician - Aviation Engines Location: NJ / NY Area (within 120 minutes of Teterboro, NJ or Bradley Airport, Windsor Locks, CT) Pay Range: $32.69 - $49.04/hour About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a Field Technician to support aviation customers and aircraft manufacturers. This role involves performing maintenance, repair, inspections, and troubleshooting on aircraft engines in both domestic and international locations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically skilled, and comfortable working in a highly mobile, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Perform engine maintenance, repair, inspection, disassembly, and reassembly Troubleshoot engine and component defects using established procedures Access and interpret technical documentation (AMM, EMM, IPC, Service Bulletins, ADs) Comply with Maintenance Operations Control work instructions Obtain and maintain repair station inspection approval Support customer operations in field environments worldwide Required Qualifications Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of aircraft MRO experience, OR Associate Degree with 3+ years of aircraft MRO experience F irframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a required eye exam Must be willing to travel up to 100% Must pass FAA/DOT background check and drug screening (safety-sensitive position) Preferred Qualifications Gas turbine engine experience FAR 145 repair station experience Aircraft or engine logbook experience Customer-facing or field service experience Ability to act in a lead capacity when required Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Why Join Competitive hourly pay with bonus potential Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance programs Career growth and development opportunities with a globally recognized aerospace leader Relocation assistance available, if applicable #rta-zr #LI-RTA
