A Loan Processing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing loans and overseeing the entire lending lifecycle. Acting as a liaison among all parties involved, this position primarily supports internal operations while also engaging with clients. Loan Processing Specialists collaborate closely with Loan Officers and serve as the first line of support for customer inquiries, servicing requests, and documentation requirements. The key contributions of this role include: Enhancing operational efficiency by supporting all stages of the loan lifecycle. Duties and Responsibilities: Loan Support: Assist lending teams with daily operations supporting new and existing customers throughout the loan lifecycle. Credit Related Tasks: Collect essential documentation, including customer financials. Work with the Credit team, facilitating communication during the loan approval process. Initiate Preliminary Credit Packages for modifications, renewals, etc. Request third-party reports such as appraisals and titles. Coordinate with Doc Prep, Legal, Closing, Funding, and Booking teams. Respond to customer inquiries related to fund transfers, loan disbursements, and payment processing. Manage accounts receivable for prepaid closing fees or professional services. Operations Related Tasks: Serve as the point of contact for internal requests, overseeing various completion stages. Ensure quality assurance of shared documentation. Prepare Documentation Checklists. Perform loan administration tasks. Verify receipt and filing of loan documentation. Generate and manage reports for monitoring the Team's portfolio. Customer Focus: Address and resolve client questions and issues promptly. Handle client requests related to money movement, ensuring alignment with organizational policies. Identify and forward potential opportunities to the appropriate team members. Job Qualifications and Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field is required. Hybrid working options available after two weeks of employment based on job role and organizational needs. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. Short-term incentives based on business performance. Retirement Contributions: 401(k) match up to 6% of salary; potential match for verified student loan payments up to 6% of salary. Defined Contribution retirement plan funded at 2-9% of salary based on tenure. Time Off: 15-25 days of vacation per year, depending on service. 12 holidays per year. 7.5 days of sick leave in the first year, increasing to 12 days thereafter, with unlimited rollover.
