Tax Preparation Support Specialist

As a Tax Preparation Support Specialist, you'll have the chance to cultivate meaningful connections with clients and guide them through the entire tax preparation journey. Your Responsibilities: Initiate the tax interview process by accurately inputting client and W-2 information into our tax software. Facilitate the completion of tax returns by organizing necessary documents, obtaining required signatures, reviewing returns with clients, and finalizing bookkeeping tasks. Provide outstanding service to all clients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Carry out additional tasks as assigned to contribute to team success. Your Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong reading and math skills are essential for conducting effective tax interviews. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone. Familiarity with Windows-based computer applications. Compliance with any additional state and local regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework in math, accounting, or finance is highly regarded.
