Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Cook and prepare menu items with precision and care. Ensure every dish meets our high-quality standards. Follow portion control practices for reduced wastage. Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about our menu items, including ingredients and preparation techniques. Adapt to menu changes and daily specials. Quality Control: Maintain exceptional standards in food quality and presentation. Help uphold operational best practices. Kitchen Organization: Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times. Maintain equipment and report any repairs needed. Assist in daily cleaning tasks and follow closing procedures. Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety guidelines diligently. Conduct safety checks and audit food storage temperatures. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with chefs, sous chefs, and the rest of the kitchen staff. Communicate effectively for seamless kitchen operations. Be flexible and ready to assist with front-of-house duties as required. Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels for food and supplies. Notify supervisors about items that need restocking. Requirements: Previous experience in a cooking role is preferred. Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Culinary training or certification is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Attention to detail in following recipes. Physical stamina for standing long hours and lifting.
