Packaging Equipment Technician I, 2nd Shift

The Packaging Equipment Technician I plays a crucial role in ensuring our packaging machinery operates efficiently. This position involves setting up, changing over, and performing maintenance on packaging machinery in our dynamic Packaging Department. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, maintain, and clean equipment on the packaging production lines. Troubleshoot and correct equipment issues, providing support to packaging assemblers. Perform bottle size changeovers and document all activities related to changeovers. Handle administrative tasks including data entry, recording downtime, and updating batch records. Order replacement parts and assist in training Packaging Machine Specialists. Qualifications: Education: An Associates Degree in a maintenance-related field or 10 years of maintenance experience with a High School Diploma/GED. Experience: 2-3 years in industrial or electrical maintenance, preferably in a packaging operation. Knowledge of PLS applications is a plus. Preferred Skills: Excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong knowledge of tools, and understanding of the packaging process. Skills Required: Mechanical aptitude with machinery and tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills.
