Overview of Job Function: The Account Executive plays a crucial role in expanding existing accounts and seizing new opportunities to enhance our business in the Mid Atlantic territory (VA, WV, KY, NC). You will be entrusted with individual sales quotas focused on selling our Fraud and Security Solutions, particularly our video-based security offerings. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Implement the company’s sales strategies and achieve established quotas by identifying and pursuing business opportunities through effective territory management, targeted prospecting, and regular client appointments. Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers, including arranging visits to our company facilities when necessary. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients by monitoring their systems and devising strategies to expand revenue through upgrades and additional solutions. Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs to provide the most suitable sales solutions. Prepare accurate sales order documentation to ensure the purchase order captures the correct configuration and solutions for clients. Utilize the company’s CRM tools to keep sales management informed with prompt updates including weekly and monthly forecasts, pipeline status, and results from prospecting activities. Maintain up-to-date records in the sales database reflecting account activities and statuses. Continuously update your knowledge of Verint’s products and technologies, along with industry trends. Complete additional reports and tasks as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in selling security or video-based technologies. Demonstrated experience in indirect sales through integrators, leveraging an extensive network of relationships. Familiarity with emerging market trends in video-based security technologies, including IT, local and wide area networks, wireless devices, and software analytics. Strong technical competency to effectively communicate and understand Verint products. Proven ability to connect with end users and engage senior-level organizational contacts. Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must reside in or near the Mid Atlantic territory. Willingness to travel up to 50% in the assigned region and across the U.S. as needed. Successful completion of a background screening process, which includes employment verifications, criminal background checks, and drug screenings as per relevant laws. Preferred Requirements: A background in IT is preferred. Prior experience in the security industry is highly regarded. Familiarity with VERINT products is advantageous.
