Senior Engineering Technician

Position: Senior Engineering Technician - Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm) In this role, you will play a key part in the implementation of new production equipment, offering design input, training, and documentation of preventative maintenance procedures, as well as installation and qualification support. You will be responsible for: Enhancing existing equipment through design improvements and one right way documents to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Conducting failure analysis to identify root causes and developing methods to maximize Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). Supporting corrective and preventative actions for production equipment. Leading projects and coordinating work groups while demonstrating problem-solving skills. Documenting machine changeovers, writing comprehensive work instructions and SOPs, and providing clear video guidance for changeovers. Assessing and managing spare parts to eliminate old inventory and identify critical missing items. Identifying appropriate resources, whether internal, third-party, or OEM, to implement solutions for common downtimes and nonconformances. Education: An Associate's degree in a maintenance-related field, or 10 years of maintenance experience with a High School Diploma/GED is required. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience is required. Preferred Skills: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred, particularly with MP2, as well as proficiency in MS Office Applications. This position will be based in Greenville, SC.
