Shop CarpenterShift: 6am-230pm M-F Location: Tolleson, AZ JOB SUMMARY Nesco's client is seeking skilled Carpenters to join their team, focusing on producing tradeshow exhibit components and retail displays. This is not a cement or finishing carpenter role. The position requires flexibility to work overtime and is based on the 1st shift. Candidates will utilize woodworking and cabinet-building skills, operating various saws, grinders, and basic machinery, while working with materials such as plywood, acrylic, and metal. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Construct tradeshow exhibit components and retail display projects. Perform cabinet building and general woodworking tasks. Operate table saws, band saws, grinders, and other basic machinery safely and efficiently. Use hand and power tools to complete assigned projects. Interpret and follow construction plans accurately. Work with materials including plywood, acrylic, and metal. Adhere to overtime schedules and maintain productivity on the 1st shift. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in cabinet building and woodworking. Proficiency with saws (table saw, band saw), grinders, and basic machine operation. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret construction plans. Comfortable working with plywood, acrylic, and metal materials. Willingness to work overtime and commit to 1st shift hours. No prior experience in cement or finishing carpentry required. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials of varying weights. Work in a production environment with potential exposure to dust and noise. Flexibility to adapt to overtime demands as needed.
