Senior Agency Claims Advocate

Description : Bring your knowledge of multi-line claims to a growing team of an established retail insurance agency!!! Responsible for handling commercial P&C as well as marine claims from first notification to final claim settlement. Deal with correspondence and file administration including registration and protection of time bars under bills of lading. Appoint marine surveyors, agents and other experts and monitoring their output from a technical quality and service point of view. Liaise with claimants to assist with investigating the cause of damage and collecting all necessary claims documentation. Insurance policy interpretation and advising underwriters of their liability under the policy of insurance. Make recommendations to underwriters on settlement or otherwise of claims under the policy. Will also be pursuing recoveries on behalf of a multitude of insurers and insureds against liable third parties worldwide. Requirements : Minimum 5-10 years of broker commercial P&C claims exposure, inland & ocean cargo experience a plus. coupled with a knowledge of liability losses. Applied Epic experience is preferred. Bilingual Korean a plus.
