As an Alarm Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch service on Securitas Technology products at client locations. This role involves troubleshooting post-installation issues, executing special project work as needed, and ensuring optimal system performance. Key Responsibilities: Respond to trouble tickets to maintain application uptime and efficiency. Diagnose and resolve application issues both independently and in collaboration with your team. Conduct preventative maintenance to enhance system availability and identify potential faults. Make routine configuration changes, such as user permissions and application settings. Document all system modifications using a digital change control tracking system. Create quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Perform comprehensive end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications prior to deployment. Carry out on-site installations of software upgrades and significant modifications. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment. Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms. Preferred fire alarm experience: Bosch, Silent Knight; knowledge of Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems is a plus. NICET certification or State Fire License is preferred. ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician certifications are preferred. Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing. Expertise in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control is a bonus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management abilities. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
