The Pre-Implementation Specialist is responsible for guiding customers through the pre-implementation phase and preparing projects for successful onboarding. This role gathers and documents customer requirements, facilitates readiness discussions, coordinates project tasks, and supports Implementation Specialists throughout the delivery process. As a customer-facing role, this position requires exceptional communication skills, strong organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Conduct customer readiness and kickoff calls to review scope and gather required information. Gather, validate, and document customer requirements and update internal project materials. Load customer data into Transaction Manager and validate accuracy. Provide introductory training on TrueCommerce software and workflows. Assist with customer questions, support calls, and pre-implementation inquiries. Coordinate project tasks, follow-ups, and cross-functional handoffs to support smooth delivery. Documents requirements and updates internal project materials for a smooth transition Identifies potential risks, readiness delays, or scope changes and proactively communicates with project managers and stakeholders Ensures all technical and business requirements are clarified before implementation begins, reducing rework and accelerating project timelines. Maintain project artifacts, checklists, and readiness documentation. Collaborate with Implementation Specialists and internal teams to ensure customer preparedness. Complete ongoing product training to maintain knowledge of TrueCommerce tools and processes Requirements for Success: Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience 0-2 years experience in client services, business-to-business support, software/customer onboarding, call center, or related customer-facing environment. Experience working with high-volume customer interactions and managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow structured processes Comfort working with data, documentation, and system tools Ability to learn technical concepts quickly Bonus if you have: Experience with ERP business systems (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred. Experience with EDI, SmartSheets, or system integrations a plus. Who is TrueCommerce?
