Telecommunications Technician

Job Summary Join our team as a Telecommunications Technician, where you'll play a vital role in installing and testing telecommunication infrastructure. This position involves working under immediate supervision and requires you to follow established guidelines to effectively perform your duties. Key Responsibilities Execute tasks for end-to-end system installation and testing, with duties varying according to project type and scope. Assist higher-level Technicians, Lead Technicians, or Site Managers with assigned tasks. Uphold AllCom's Core Values of Honesty, Integrity, Quality, and Performance in every aspect of your work. Knowledge and Skills Required Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the telecommunications installation field. Experience in telecom/data center environments, specifically in: Installation of raised floor systems Setup of server cabinets and open racks Installation of ladder racks, fiber troughs, and associated materials Strong understanding of proper lacing techniques Able to complete tasks thoroughly under supervision. Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders up to 25 feet, and work on lifts up to 40 feet. Capacity to lift or carry weights of up to 50 pounds. Education / Certification High school diploma or its equivalent. 3-4 years of experience in telecommunication infrastructure installation. Must successfully pass pre-employment testing (drug and background check) and hold a valid driver's license.
