Who We Are Looking For: We seek a senior Digital Product Designer to lead mobile app experiences for a next-generation hardware product. You will design intuitive iOS and Android interfaces while collaborating with engineering, QA, and UX Research teams. Ideal candidates have deep mobile app design experience, especially with hardware like wearables (e.g., Fitbit, Peloton, Apple Watch) or smart devices (e.g., Alexa, Google Nest, Ring). Who You Will Work With: You will join the Experience Squad with product managers, hardware/firmware/software engineers, QA, and UX researchers. Work Model: Hybrid - Mon-Thu in-office, Fri WFH What You Will Do: Design user interfaces and interactions for iOS/Android mobile apps and connected hardware experiences. Translate research insights and product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs. Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product managers to ensure design feasibility and quality throughout development. Partner with UX Research to iterate designs based on user feedback and testing. Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation for cohesive, inclusive experiences. Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and usability principles. Support operational planning and delivery of long-term initiatives. Present design strategy and rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Key Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or related field. 7+ years designing mobile apps, ideally for hardware products. Proven track record leading end-to-end design for consumer-facing digital products. Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms. Experience collaborating with engineering and QA in Agile environments. Strong portfolio showing mobile app design, hardware-connected experiences, and design systems. Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design. Excellent communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills. bility to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity through organized design steps. Comfort presenting to senior leadership.
