Senior Infrastructure & Network Platform Engineer Job Summary: This role is intended for a senior, hands- on infrastructure engineer with strong enterprise networking depth, balanced by ownership of cloud/server platforms and modernized IT operations. The RE/MAX, LLC Enterprise IT Operations is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Network Platform Engineer with deep expertise across enterprise networking, enterprise cloud and SaaS platforms, and traditional IT infrastructure operations within large-scale enterprise environments. The engineer plays a critical role in infrastructure strategy, technical standards, automation, and operational reliability, spanning networking, compute, identity, and core enterprise services. This position partners closely with Security, Compliance, and IT Operations teams to improve system availability, security posture, and user experience through thoughtful architecture, disciplined operations, and continuous improvement. The role also serves as a technical mentor and standards leader within Infrastructure Operations. Essential Functions: Architecture & Design Architect and evolve multi-cloud and hybrid enterprise networking, including routing, segmentation, and secure traffic flows across global offices, WAN and internet connectivity, and secure remote access using ZTNA- and SASE-aligned architectures. Lead design and operational practices for network services such as DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and supporting infrastructure services for enterprise applications. Deploy and maintain wireless (Wi-Fi) networking solutions, including coverage planning support, performance tuning, security controls, and user experience optimization across office locations. Design, deploy, and operate cloud and on-premises server platforms, including Windows Server-based workloads and supporting infrastructure services across AWS, Azure, and on-premises data centers, including integration with enterprise networking, identity, and security controls. Security, Identity & Compliance Design and administer enterprise IT Operations services including identity and access management, email security and routing, and productivity platforms, partnering with Security on policy design and enforcement. Design and perform system and security audits, backup strategies, and recovery processes in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements. Operations, Reliability & Automation Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and health of network, server, and platform infrastructure services Lead advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex, cross-domain infrastructure issues spanning networking, compute, identity, and core services. Automate operational workflows using workflow automation and scripting techniques to improve reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency across environments. Lead platform design considerations for availability, scalability, patching, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery across infrastructure layers. Partner with application and operations teams to ensure platform designs support reliability, performance, and operational supportability. Documentation, Standards & Leadership Create and maintain architecture documentation, configuration standards, and technology roadmaps. Mentor IT Operations staff, promote best practices, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture. Participate in a weekly on-call and point-of-operation rotation alongside other Infrastructure Operations team members, supporting critical infrastructure services. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related technical field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience. Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms, including networking, servers, and hybrid cloud environments. Advanced expertise in enterprise networking, including routing, switching, segmentation, VPN, secure remote access, and multi-site connectivity. Strong experience with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure compute, identity integration, and connectivity patterns. Experience supporting enterprise Wi-Fi in multi-office environments with a focus on security and user experience. Deep experience with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, file/print services, and enterprise troubleshooting. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills to reduce manual effort and improve operational reliability. Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience designing or operating ZTNA and SASE architectures. Experience with IAM, SSO, and MFA platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Okta).• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives in a complex enterprise environment. Certification: Networking (Firewalls, ZTNA, SASE, WIFI), Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), Enterprise Platforms (0365, Google Workspace), Identity Management. Cloud and server platforms are stable, scalable, and operationally sound, with clear lifecycle management, effective monitoring, and dependable recovery processes that support critical business workloads. Automation and operational discipline reduce manual effort and risk, allowing infrastructure changes to be executed safely, repeatably, and with minimal disruption. The Infrastructure Operations team grows stronger through clear technical standards, mentoring, and shared ownership, resulting in improved reliability, faster issue resolution, and a more resilient enterprise environment. Salary Range: $118,500 - $130,000 Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below.
