Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Assisted Revenue Cycle Specialist. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the revenue cycle system, working closely with billing, coding, and department leaders to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance. Job Summary As an Assisted Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will develop reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators to enhance operational outcomes. You will support patient education regarding health insurance, assist with enrollment in Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans, and manage workflows to improve revenue capture and patient experience. Key Responsibilities Support revenue cycle operations to ensure accurate revenue capture and compliance. Conduct data analysis, audits, and reporting to optimize financial performance. Maintain and improve the Chargemaster and insurance/provider data files. Assist patients with insurance enrollment and respond to inquiries with professionalism and care. Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve claims and improve processes. Participate in continuous process improvements and problem-solving initiatives. Education and Experience Associate degree from an accredited institution required; Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Public Health, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. Three or more years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, data analysis, and reporting is preferred. Licenses and Certifications Washington Health Benefit Exchange In-Person Assister Certification required at hire or within 90 days. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of patient access, registration, coding, billing workflows, and medical terminology. Proficiency in statistical modeling, data mining, and reporting tools. Familiarity with electronic medical records and insurance verification systems. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
