POSITION SUMMARY: Join our vibrant team as a Salaried Restaurant Manager, overseeing restaurant operations with a commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the restaurant's success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Lead our restaurant environment during shifts, making impactful management decisions: Deliver outstanding, friendly service based on company guidelines. Foster a culture aligned with our Vision and Mission statement to enhance People, Profits, and Guest Experience. Address and resolve guest complaints promptly. Ensure a high-quality guest experience through proactive engagement. Educate staff on alcohol awareness. Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels. Guarantee product preparation and presentation meet our quality standards. Schedule staff efficiently to meet sales demands. Implement effective safety and security protocols in accordance with company policies. Promote and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment. Support promotional initiatives and educate staff on menu updates. Assist in managing Team Leaders and Team Members to achieve peak performance. Oversee Team Member functions and administrative tasks associated with managerial responsibilities. Support Front of House and Back of House operations during assigned shifts. Execute all opening and closing procedures effectively. Uphold standards of quality throughout the dining experience. Assist in compiling daily and weekly operational reports. Encourage teamwork by building strong, cohesive teams dedicated to our restaurant and organizational goals. Demonstrate professionalism and integrity, aligning with our values. Develop Team Leads and Team Members for future advancement. Perform other related duties as required. EQUIPMENT/COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in computers and familiar with common office equipment. Experience with Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of Applebee's systems and software. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Manage both Back of House and Front of House Team Leads and Team Members. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of guest service experience. 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience, preferably in casual dining. Proven ability to grow sales and manage a Profit & Loss Statement. Positive attitude with a knack for handling challenging guest interactions. Must be at least 21 years old. ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification is preferred. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus. Ability to pass a background check. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. Flexibility to work 50-55 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. KEY COMPETENCIES: Passionate about hospitality. WORKING CONDITIONS: Environment may include wet floors, loud noises, and fast-paced conditions, including outdoor elements.
