Underwriter - Wholesale Specialty Products

Join Our Exceptional Team! Work Remotely! We are seeking talented Underwriters for our Non-Agency Products - NO DE REQUIRED! The Wholesale Underwriter will evaluate loans in line with Company and Investor guidelines, adhering to our policies and procedures with general supervision. Our loan products offer some of the most competitive rates and terms in the industry. You will be responsible for making sound underwriting decisions that comply with legal and policy requirements. This role offers a target pay range of $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 plus a Monthly Incentive Plan. Your Responsibilities: Possess in-depth knowledge of Non-Agency or Non-QM mortgage loan underwriting. Handle sensitive information about loan applicants with confidentiality. Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Conduct thorough analysis of collateral to confirm property meets investor standards and appraisal quality. Apply and interpret company underwriting guidelines to make informed credit decisions. Perform credit analysis, income assessments, property evaluations, and ensure proper audits and file consistency. Identify risk factors within loans, utilizing tools and documentation to spot red flags and inconsistencies. Review and assess credit information to determine eligibility for loan programs. Establish conditions, stipulations, or pre-funding requirements as necessary. Clear underwriting conditions, stipulations, or pre-funding requirements received. Communicate effectively with clients, sales teams, and operations teams to resolve any outstanding issues. What You Need: A minimum of 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience. Experience underwriting Non-Agency or Non-QM Loans. Experience with Paperless Loan Origination Systems is preferred. DU and LP experience is required. Experience working in a paperless environment is preferred.
