Location: Main Campus (with potential coverage at Parma) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call: No call requirement We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Hematology/Oncology team. This role delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across outpatient oncology, hematology, and supportive services within a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Experience: Prior oncology or hematology experience Chemotherapy management Sickle cell disease management Bone marrow biopsy procedures Cell therapy or Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience We welcome motivated new graduates who are passionate about oncology and eager to grow in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. Required: Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) program Current licensure in the State of Ohio (RN + APRN Certificate of Authority for NPs; PA license for Physician Assistants) National board certification in specialty area (APRN or NCCPA as applicable) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or obtained within 90 days of hire) Obtain advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire Eligible for and obtains clinical privileges within the specialty/department with The MetroHealth System; must report to the Medical Staff Office at time of hire to initiate credentialing Maintains required collaborative/supervisory agreements in accordance with Ohio law For NPs: Maintains a Standard Care Arrangement as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients Requires standing and walking for extended periods May require lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds Requires manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures (e.g., bone marrow biopsies, central line management) Requires visual and auditory acuity necessary to assess patient condition and operate clinical equipment May be exposed to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and chemotherapy agents Requires ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
