Department Overview The Inside Channel team promotes sales growth by developing, nurturing, and enabling mid-tier account assignments within the NA Channel Partner ecosystem. The Channel Account Manager will create awareness of Motorola Solutions products, software, and services by leveraging their expertise in the field. Job Description The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for establishing strong business relationships at all levels of the partner's organization to become their trusted business advisor. Each manager will be assigned a geographic area and will collaborate closely with field sales counterparts. Performance will be measured based on individual and territory-based goals. Responsibilities Include: Building trust and strong business relationships with assigned mid-tier accounts. Driving targeted call campaigns and promoting sales within the partner community. Analyzing territory and regional data & trends to think strategically. Bringing innovative ideas to transform the channel sales organization. Engaging with the product team quarterly for updates on new products, solutions, and training. Collaborating with Sales Management & Marketing Operations for seamless execution of promotions and lead management. Providing leadership, counseling, and coaching to partner sales resources. Participating in territory/regional meetings and conference calls as necessary. Taking on additional responsibilities specific to supporting the customer and sales team. Desired Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred. 2+ years of inside/outside and/or field sales experience preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales results and developing collaborative relationships. Strong knowledge of our go-to-market strategy and Sales Way philosophy is required. Excellent coaching skills; experience in conflict management and situational leadership is a plus. Confident individual willing to take responsibility and hold themselves and others accountable. Self-motivated team player with high energy and a positive attitude. Ability to make decisions and maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment. The role is primarily office-based, with flexibility to travel as necessary. Target Base Salary Range: $48,000 - $52,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, pay within this range may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The final offer will reflect the individual candidate. Basic Requirements Bachelor's Degree OR 1+ years of sales/customer service experience.
