Description As a key player in the Americas sales team at Vilter by Copeland, the Account Executive - Biogas Solutions will spearhead the promotion of world-class industrial compression solutions crucial for the energy transition. At the center of our offerings is Vilter's proprietary single-screw technology, celebrated for its reliability. This role primarily focuses on fostering both new and existing relationships within the biogas sector, striving to achieve Trusted Advisor status with customers and advocating for Vilter's industrial gas compressor products. Key Responsibilities: Conduct responsibilities ethically, adhering to organizational policies and laws. Drive successful growth by cultivating new business within the Vilter gas compression product line in an assigned customer base. Focus on nurturing relationships with existing accounts while exploring opportunities in North America’s biogas sector including wastewater treatment, dairy, and food waste digesters. Establish new customer relationships through proactive prospecting and engagement efforts. Enhance the preference for Vilter equipment by building partnerships with end-users, developers, biogas upgraders, system integrators, and contractors. Own the sales process from discovery through to closure of purchase orders, providing excellent aftersales support as necessary. Advocate for Vilter’s value proposition and technical advantages through key stakeholder visits, industry tradeshows, and association participation. Elevate Vilter’s standing as a trusted value provider by gaining Trusted Advisor status with key clients. Foster relationships with decision-makers to streamline customer decision-making processes. Maintain accurate forecasts, project insights, and competitor information using Salesforce CRM. Gather and communicate customer insights regarding market trends, product needs, and competitor activities to support organizational strategy. Identify and qualify new projects to share with leadership, mobilizing the organization to seize new business opportunities. Support Vilter’s commercial processes, including developing and submitting sales proposals and negotiating customer agreements. Act as an advocate for Vilter to customers, while also representing customer needs to Vilter. Required Education, Experience & Skills: Proven sales success within industrial equipment, biogas, oil & gas, or related fields. Able to communicate effectively both technically and commercially at all organizational levels. Possess strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset. Knowledge of contract negotiations is essential. Willingness to travel regularly, up to 100 nights per year. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or Mechanical Engineering. Established relationships with customers in the biogas industry, particularly with digester developers and upgraders. Experience and mechanical understanding of rotating equipment such as industrial compressors. Familiarity with biogas upgrading processes and digesters is advantageous. Remote Work Arrangement: This is a fully remote role; however, occasional travel to a Copeland location may be required for team collaboration or customer interaction. As per Colorado EPEWA guidelines, total cash compensation for this role is between $140k to $190k annually, including base salary and potential quarterly bonuses.
