Role Summary: The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in supporting and guiding restaurant operations. This position focuses on managing Team Members and ensuring quality service for every Guest. Responsibilities: Train and coach Team Members to deliver food and drinks in a courteous and timely manner. Engage with Guests verbally to foster a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Handle administrative tasks effectively. Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures in line with company and brand policies. Manage alcohol service in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Conduct inventory checks and place orders as needed. Receive and audit deliveries meticulously. Meet budget goals through effective cost management and sales growth strategies. Address complex customer service issues professionally. Ensure Team Members adhere to the dress code. Learn and enforce Cinemark's policies and procedures fairly and consistently. Report Employee relations issues to the General Manager or follow the designated reporting protocol. Exhibit a strong work ethic and code of conduct in all actions. Identify and sanitize high-contact areas for both Employees and Guests regularly. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment appropriately during tasks. Adapt to varying cleaning responsibilities as required. Address safety or security concerns proactively. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum age of 18 years. High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred. Completion of basic training courses within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program. Basic food handling training and relevant local or state certifications where required. Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training for management personnel. Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Consistent attendance is essential. Possess a friendly and energetic demeanor during each shift. Deliver outstanding Guest service. Demonstrate accurate cash handling and basic math skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with diverse individuals. Ability to work well in both team settings and independently. Willingness to take and follow directions promptly. Respond to situations with a sense of urgency. Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Capability to recruit, train, and lead others effectively. Conflict resolution skills are necessary. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred. Physical and Environmental Requirements: Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Regular standing, walking, and reaching within the theater. Noise levels may fluctuate from moderate to high. Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
