The Opportunity We’re seeking physician assistants and nurse practitioners with experience in Emergency Departments and Urgent Care Centers. Experience in ED/UCC is preferred, but we welcome new graduates with relevant emergency or paramedic/EMT backgrounds. Must have current national certification and DEA registration. A Kansas state license, along with PALS and ACLS certification, is a plus. Providers will rotate among Ascension Via Christi Hospital - St. Joseph, Ascension Via Christi Hospital - St. Teresa, and Ascension Via Christi Hospital - St. Francis. The Practice Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Joseph - Wichita, Kansas Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Teresa - Wichita, Kansas Ascension Via Christi Hospital St. Francis - Wichita, Kansas Our facilities include an 801-bed hospital with a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a burn unit. We have a 30-bed main ED that handles over 55,000 visits annually and includes all backup specialties. Vituity provides scribe assistance to enhance physician productivity. Our hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain and STEMI Center as well as a Bariatric Center of Excellence.
