Security Alarm Technician

As a key member of our service team, you will play an essential role in ensuring our technology performs efficiently at client sites. You will handle post-installation issues and participate in special projects as needed. Key Responsibilities Address trouble tickets to maintain system uptime and performance. Diagnose and resolve application issues independently and collaboratively. Conduct preventative maintenance to enhance application availability and pinpoint system faults. Carry out routine changes, including user permissions and application settings. Document all modifications using our digital change control system. Create high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Test all upgrades and major modifications comprehensively before deployment. Install software upgrades and significant modifications on-site. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment. Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. Fire alarm experience with Bosch or Silent Knight is highly preferred; Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other systems are a plus. NICET certification or State Fire License is preferred. ESA Certified Alarm Technician and NTS Certified Service Technician are preferred qualifications. Understanding of network communication and IP addressing. Certifications in enterprise-grade CCTV and Access Control are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Strong time management skills and a positive attitude with a robust work ethic. Why Join Us?
