As a General Manager, your key mission is to uphold the Border Foods Core Values including Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment while making a positive impact on the lives of employees and guests. As the General Manager, you are responsible for overseeing restaurant operations and building a dedicated team that consistently delivers outstanding food and a friendly atmosphere. Minimize losses through strict cash handling practices and compliance with accounting requirements. Exhibit effective labor, inventory, and waste management practices. Empowerment: Identify and enhance team capabilities, recognizing both strengths and areas for growth. Provide continuous learning opportunities for Team Members. Support team members in their personal development and career trajectories. Demonstrate timely coaching skills consistently. Share ideas and resources that promote collective success and growth. Encourage operational assistance through the use of various tools. Required and Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of three years of restaurant or retail experience, or a combination of education and experience. Experience in sales growth, P&L management, recruiting, and training. Proven success in hiring and retaining staff. Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required. ServeSafe certification is required. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance are necessary. High school diploma or equivalent is required. This position is physically demanding, involving sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving during working hours. These requirements can be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
