Join our team as an Automotive Paint Consultant, where you will build and maintain rewarding relationships with PBE customers to drive consistent and profitable sales growth. Your expertise will be key in color formula lookup and mixing custom OEM colors, while providing unparalleled technical assistance. Utilize PBE sales tools to deliver top-notch service to both retail and professional customers and collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve PBE sales objectives. Essential Job Functions Engage with retail and professional PBE customers to form strong relationships. Offer expert color matching assistance and guidance on paint product selection. Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas into the retrieval computer, and mix and tint paint according to manufacturer specifications. Utilize advanced color matching tools like ColorNet, Paint Manager, and spectrophotometers. Maintain a clean and safe mixing room and manage all PBE inventory effectively. Implement a weekly call schedule and summarize it for review by management. Coordinate with Installer Service Specialists for optimal delivery scheduling and efficiency. Promote company customer service programs and adhere to standard policies. Assist customers with labor claims or PBE warranty inquiries. Train store team members on PBE sales and technical queries. Keep abreast of industry news, regulations, and compliance related to PBE. Promote existing PBE sales tools like Shop Specials and Product Announcements. Ensure accurate pricing for professional customers to maximize profits and competitiveness. Greet walk-in customers promptly in a friendly manner and assist them in merchandise selection. Complete required training modules related to your position. Process various customer transactions, handle returns, and manage complaints effectively. Support completion of various clerical duties including returns and stock adjustments. Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to provide exceptional service to all professional PBE customers. Required Skills and Experience Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Outstanding customer service capabilities. Ability to multitask, managing both phone and in-store customers efficiently. Desired Skills Knowledge or experience in automotive paint and body. Relevant technical schooling. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly preferred).
