Learn more about MATC at Under the direction of the Dean of Community Education, coordinates the planning and implementation of dual enrollment programming in the District by collaborating with consortium high schools in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Assists prospective students in the dual enrollment process by providing information on needed requirements. Provides assistance and support in enrollment and retention/completion by coordinating outreach services for various programs representing MATC at assigned high schools. Work requires the use of independent judgment, analysis, and decision-making working with institutional and divisional policies procedures. Supervision received is general in nature and daily responsibilities are completed independently with interaction with supervisor limited to problems or unusual conditions. Works with other professionals in a team environment to reach departmental goals. Characteristic Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresents MATC in high schools and while on campus for dual enrollment programming. Establish, maintain, and enhance positive work relationships within the District and the community. Explains dual enrollment program information to students Provides logistical support for dual enrollment in high schools by working with high school teachers, counselors, leadership, students, college faculty, staff, and leadership. Connects students with various MATC services including Recruitment, Financial Aid, Student Accommodations and others Assists students with dual enrollment course selection, identification of course availability, etc. Provides Dual Enrollment student orientations. Serve as Dual Enrollment external liaison between high school teachers, counselors, principals, students and College Deans, Faculty, Admissions and Registration staff. Generates informational data; keeps records and data for the use of the student services division. Represents MATC on advisory boards, committees in the public, private, business or community sector. Participant of in-service training, workshops and other educational activities as required or assigned. Coordinates events for high schools and student to promote MATC Dual Enrollment. Assist with the facilitation of curriculum alignment, working with secondary and MATC faculty and secondary administrators, to develop applied academic and occupational Dual Enrollment courses and programs between consortium high schools and MATC. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards/requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree or higher in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or Marketing with at least five (5) years of full-time or part-time equivalency occupational experienceOR Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Behavioral Sciences, Business, or Marketing with at least three (3) years of full-time or part-time equivalency occupational experienceOccupational experience in the areas of recruitment (student), project management, public relations, curriculum development, or advising. Frequent travel around Milwaukee County, mileage is reimbursed, is a core function of this role, with approximately 50% of work time spent traveling to and working on-site at assigned high schools. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of general entry admissions and enrollment procedures. General knowledge of community based organizations/agencies structure and services. Working knowledge of marketing principles to guide behavior and decisions. Excellent organizing skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands including coordination of events with multiple teams. Ability to communicate effectively through both oral and written means while projecting an image of high professionalism. Must possess a high caliber of customer services skills in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships with MATC staff, faculty, students, representatives from outside agencies, business community and the general public. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment. Demonstrated ability to create, structure, and deliver public presentations to a variety of groups. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and as a team member. Ability to access and disseminate information using computers and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends as necessary. Ability to frequently local travel. Supplemental Information Start Date: This position supports the Community Education Division and is available to start in April 2026. Hours: This position is a full-time position and works 100% IN PERSON, 40 hours per work week, year round. The hours would be approximately M-F from 8am to 4:30pm however some events occur in the early even hours so flexibility may be needed. Location: This position isprimarily based out of our Downtown Campus campus location. Frequent travel around Milwaukee County, mileage is reimbursed, is a core function of this role, with approximately 50% of work time spent traveling to and working on-site at assigned high schools. Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited. Health Insurance MATC offers a choice between two medical insurance plans. See below for plan types: Low Deductible PPO High Deductible PPO Upon selection, the coverage begins the first of the month following start date. You will have 30 days from your start date to enroll. MATC contributes a generous percentage towards medical insurance premium. Both medical plans include prescription drug coverage at no additional cost to employees. Employees are offered an option to enroll in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with the selection of the Low Deductible PPO plan. Employees are offered an option to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) with the selection of the High Deductible PPO plan with employer contributions. Dental Insurance MATC offers a group dental plan through Delta Dental. Upon selection, the dental insurance plan coverage begins the first of the month following start date. Annual maximum per covered person is $2,500; plan covers preventive, routine, restoration, and has an orthodontic benefit for dependents up to age 19. Vision Insurance MATC offers a group vision plan through Superior Vision..Upon selection, the vision insurance plan coverage begins the first of the month following start date. Plan covers eye exam, frames, lenses and contact lenses. Group Life Insurance MATC offers group term life insurance benefits through Madison National Life Insurance Company effective the first of the month of start date and is fully paid for by the College. The amount of insurance is based upon the employee's annual earnings rounded to the higher $1,000.00. The benefit is doubled in the event of accidental death. Supplemental Life Insurance is also available at group rates for employees, spouses, and dependents to purchase. Long-Term Disability MATC offers long-term disability insurance through Madison National Life Company after 30 days of employment and is fully paid for by the College. Benefits provided are equal to 66 2/3% of base monthly earnings. Flexible Spending Accounts MATC offers two types of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Health Care FSA Dependent Care FSA This type of benefit allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars per calendar year for a variety of medical, dental, and vision expenses (for a Health Care FSA) and for day care expenses for children under 13 or family members that are dependent on you for more than half their support (for a Dependent Care FSA) up to a maximum amount. Retirement Savings Regular full-time employees of MATC who are hired for greater than 12 months become members of the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS)'s pension system as of day one of employment. The College currently pays the full cost of the employer contribution (6.9%), and the employee pays the full part of the employee contribution of 6.9% of salary. There is a five year vesting period requirement in order to qualify for any employer contributions made on the employee's behalf. Contribution rates are subject to change annually as set by the State. In addition to the WRS pension account, employees may enroll in other optional retirement savings plan such as a 403(b) account or a 457 account on a pre-tax or post-tax basis. Sick Leave MATC offers employees a generous sick leave plan per year. Each employee may accumulate up to 165 days of full sick leave with an unlimited accumulation of half pay sick leave. Vacation MATC offers a vacation policy to employees for the purpose of rest and relaxation. Vacation is earned at a generous rate each year of employment. (Not available for Instructors) Paid & Flexible (Floating) Holidays MATC offers 12 paid holidays for non-Faculty positions and 7 paid holidays for Faculty positions. MATC provides two flexible (floating) holidays per employee per year. (Not available for Instructors). Tuition Benefits: Employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement and waiver after completing probationary period.
