As a technology powerhouse specializing in communication and security systems for public safety agencies and enterprises, we are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Oracle CPQ Product Owner. This role is critical as we expand our digital offerings to shape the next generation of our Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) platform. Job Description As a pivotal member of the IT Global Sales team, you will lead the vision for the Oracle CPQ Cloud platform, ensuring it aligns with our business objectives and enhances customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include defining, prioritizing, and delivering Oracle CPQ product features while effectively translating business needs into scalable solutions that optimize quoting and sales processes. Product Ownership & Strategy: Define and convey the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the goals of sales, finance, and operations. Manage the product backlog to ensure it reflects strategic initiatives and business priorities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, effectively communicating the product vision, release plans, and progress updates to senior leadership. Foster user adoption through comprehensive communication, documentation, and training initiatives. Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance existing business processes, identifying improvement areas and leveraging product capabilities to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Lead the complete lifecycle for product feature implementation and enhancements. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment readiness, and post-launch support, targeting opportunities to streamline sales processes and boost system usability and performance. End-User Advocacy: Champion the needs of end-users by providing thorough training, support, and guidance to ensure they fully utilize product capabilities and adhere to best practices. Data Driven / Prioritization: Employ a data-driven approach to manage the product, providing insights into performance and value capture while leveraging data insights for effective prioritization. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements that align with customer satisfaction and business goals. Thought Leadership / Emerging Trends: Identify key customer trends and emerging technologies that can enhance stakeholder service by researching and evaluating trends to deliver valuable insights. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership. Proven experience leading large-scale IT implementations or upgrades. Deep understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes, including CRM (Salesforce, Oracle CX) and ERP (Oracle Fusion, SAP) integrations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with experience in Agile or hybrid development environments. Demonstrated capability to partner with technical and business teams to produce measurable results. Preferred Qualifications Consulting experience focused on large-scale implementations. Familiarity with relevant technologies: Salesforce, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Oracle Fusion ERP. Prior experience in manufacturing, high-tech, or subscription-based industries. Understanding of pricing strategy, revenue recognition, and approval workflow design. Key Competencies Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong prioritization and decision-making abilities. Target Base Salary Range: $145,000 USD - $165,000 USD Pay within this range varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The offer will reflect the qualifications of the individual candidate. Note: Candidates must be available to visit the Chicago/Schaumburg office 1-3 days a week. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position. No travel is required for this role. No relocation assistance is provided.
