We are searching for a highly skilled Fellowship Trained Neuro-Ophthalmology Specialist with a background in either Neurology or Ophthalmology to be part of our dynamic team. This position is located at our flagship hospital's tertiary care Ophthalmology department, integrated within the Neurosciences division. You will have the flexibility to practice in general Neurology or Ophthalmology if desired. Additionally, if you are keen on academic pursuits, this role presents an exciting opportunity to revive a historic Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship program that fell dormant due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our department serves patients across the tristate area. Job Duties/Highlights: Deliver specialized neuro-ophthalmologic care, including comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical interventions. Foster collaborations with colleagues in neurosurgery and neurology. Exercise strong communication and interpersonal skills while working effectively with a diverse team. Participate in primary Level 1 Trauma Call as part of a team of 5 physicians. Job Qualifications: Medical degree with completion of an accredited residency program in either ophthalmology or neurology. Fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology.
