Recruiting Solutions is seeking a 1st shift Facility Maintenance Technician for an International Pharmaceutical company in the Greenville area. Facility Maintenance Technician Benefits: 1st shift hours (7AM-3:30PM or 8AM-4:30PM) Competitive pay Employee Vitamin store discount Climate controlled environment Facility Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: Install, relocate, troubleshoot and repair assigned equipment Perform day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of all facility related items Perform preventative, reactive and emergency maintenance, and repair on assigned tasks Complete all associated paperwork in timely manner for assigned tasks Dismantles, repairs and reassembles complex equipment Respond quickly to emergency requests by site management when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified Ability to work alone or with other technicians Follow all safety procedures when opening, repairing and installing process or plant equipment. (LOTO, Hot Works Permits, Confined Space Permits, etc) Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery Operating various types of equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, man lift, etc) Required to work on ladders, scaffolds, and aerial equipment Required to participate in after-hours/weekend on-call rotation. Must have the ability to respond to after-hours and weekend callback via phone within 15 minutes and onsite availability within 1.5 hours Facility Maintenance Technician Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Facility Maintenance EDUCATION: High School Diploma and five (5) years of facility or production maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent 2 year technical degree industrial Maintenance or related field Preferred Facility Maintenance Qualifications REQUIRED: Must be mechanically inclined and willing to perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic tasks Comprehend and interpret mechanical data from blueprints, schematics, wiring and plumbing diagrams and be familiar with other mechanical trades data found on these documents. Knowledge and understanding of LOTO and OSHA safety requirements Comprehensive knowledge and troubleshooting skills of motor/ drive assembly mechanical functions and systems. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments Ability to work with others and promote team atmosphere
