Field Quality Assurance Inspector

In this role, you will visit residential construction sites to verify that all work aligns with established quality standards and fulfills client and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in construction inspections along with a strong grasp of residential building practices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct daily inspections at residential job sites, ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. Examine construction activities including trenching, conduit installation, grounding, structural mounting, and equipment placement. Ensure contractors comply with approved specifications, codes, and client requirements. Document inspection findings through detailed notes, reports, and photo documentation. Identify deficiencies or deviations and communicate necessary corrective actions to the relevant teams. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and utility representatives to resolve field issues. Oversee the proper use and handling of materials and equipment on-site. Maintain organized and current records of all inspections and communications. Travel between job sites as required. Qualifications: Experience in field inspection, construction, or utility-related work (OSP/telecom/electrical experience is a plus). Strong understanding of residential construction processes and safety standards. Able to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications. Comfortable working outdoors and walking various job sites daily in different weather conditions. Excellent communication and reporting skills are essential. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21-$25 per hour (based on experience) Expected Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday Work Location: Field-based (on the road; residential job sites)
