Assembler

We are seeking a reliable 1st Shift Assembly Worker to join our production team in Watervliet, NY. This role focuses on assembling products with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Assemble components and products according to work instructions and specifications Inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations Document production data, assembly metrics, and quality checks accurately Report any equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors Assist with training new team members as needed Support continuous improvement initiatives in the assembly process Qualifications Required: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Preferred: Experience in manufacturing Familiarity with quality inspection tools and procedures Basic computer skills for logging production data Work Environment Manufacturing/industrial setting Exposure to mechanical equipment, light chemicals, and moderate noise Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities available Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and cross-training within production Why should you choose Manpower?
