Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Work alongside physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop collaborative care strategies. Educate patients and families to promote progress outside the therapy sessions. Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care along the entire treatment pathway. Document accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in continuous education and collaboration to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field. Education Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Required Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
