Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur Client the leading manufacture of connectors and cable assemblies for the Data Center market is currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support their Tier 1 Data Center clients. The position will be based in the Seattle, WA area. The FAE interfaces with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and the extended sales team to provide world-class interconnect solutions to their customers.Responsibilities: Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery, design, prototyping, and productionProviding technical marketing support for the development and design-in of Commercial Products, including internal/external power, memory, storage, and internal IOPrepare and participate in technical presentationsIncluding 3d-CAD modeling and manipulation Develop customer-facing material that is application specificProvide customer support for all technical inquiries; provide product solutions to address customer concernsHelp devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitorsSome travel will be required Education/ Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalentElectrical or Mechanical Engineering Prefered 5 years of experience in customer-facing Design or Applications Engineering of electrical electronic connectors, cable assemblies, or other electromechanical components Experience providing product marketing and technical support to produce design winsStrong preference for experience with Power interconnect and Power architecture applications Skills:Proficient in communicating across organizational hierarchiesHigh level of customer service, ability to build rapport with customersSelf-motivated, assertive natureProficient use of modeling tools such as Creo or SolidWorksStrong organizational and presentation skillsMicrosoft Office 365 Company DescriptionManufacture of electronic connectors for the electronics industry.Company DescriptionManufacture of electronic connectors for the electronics industry.
