For nearly 30 years, we have been nurturing apprentice drivers. Our student driver training is recognized as one of the best in the nation and is one of the select on-the-job training programs sanctioned by the Department of Labor as a certified Heavy Truck Driver Apprenticeship program. Apprentice drivers receive $650 per week during orientation and OTR training with a certified flatbed driver trainer! We value home time; hence, we strive to match you with a trainer residing within 150 miles of your location for optimal weekend enjoyment. Orientation lasts two weeks at one of our training facilities in Des Moines, Iowa, or Columbia, South Carolina. This is followed by five weeks of over-the-road (OTR) training with a Driver Trainer (4 weeks if you have an Automatic Transmission restriction on your Class A CDL) Apprentice drivers earn $650 per week during orientation and OTR training with a certified flatbed driver trainer Some first-year drivers have reported earning up to $100,000 annually!
