Job Description

Join the Information Governance Department as a Senior Matter Mobility Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing complex matter mobility initiatives for our firm. As the leading subject-matter expert, you will be instrumental in designing processes, mitigating risks, and coordinating across various functions on high-impact projects. Essential Functions Lead high-level mobility projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale migrations. Establish standardized frameworks for mobility, ensuring quality controls and acceptance criteria are met. Create advanced analytics and executive reports to guide leadership decisions. Evaluate and suggest new tools and automation opportunities; collaborate on technology selection. Advise senior stakeholders on intricate legal, technical, and retention issues associated with mobility. Enhance processes to improve defensibility, efficiency, and security continuously. Mentor Senior Analysts and Analysts; serve as the escalation point for high-risk matters. Align mobility practices with firm policies and regulatory requirements. Additional Functions Be available for support after normal business hours when necessary. Undertake additional duties as assigned. Education A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or professional certification in information governance or project management is preferred. Experience A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in matter mobility, eDiscovery, records management, or related fields. Strong proficiency with document management, secure transfer platforms, and reporting tools. Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strategic thinking and strong process design abilities. Advanced technical and data analysis skills. Excellent executive-level communication and the ability to influence stakeholders. Risk awareness and defensibility-focused decision making. Skills in mentorship, knowledge transfer, and program leadership. Work Environment & Physical Demands This position operates within a clerical office setting. The role typically utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Requirements This is a sedentary role, requiring the ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The job involves sitting for the majority of the time. Visual Acuity The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing computer terminals, and extensive reading. Compensation & Benefits The salary ranges for this position vary by location and reflect multiple factors considered in compensation decisions, including experience, education, licensure, certifications, geographic location, market demands, and business needs. Typical salary ranges are as follows: Las Vegas & Minneapolis: $76,500 to $96,500 Chicago & Atlantic City: $88,000 to $108,000 Denver, Los Angeles, Morristown, Princeton, Washington, DC & Seattle: $95,000 to $115,000 New York & San Francisco: $105,000 to $125,000 For detailed information on our compensation and benefits, visit the respective company resources.
