We are looking for an innovative and motivated Lead Security Product Strategist to join our Security Platform Engineering team, leading initiatives to build the most trusted platform in cryptocurrency. In this role, you will tackle vital challenges in crypto custody and security, concentrating on areas such as secrets management, risk management, insider threats, account takeovers, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Operations-to create groundbreaking solutions that set the standard for crypto security technology, greatly enhancing our customers' security and overall user experience. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement a strategic roadmap for our security platform that aligns with our global business goals. Manage the entire product lifecycle of security platform products, from conception to launch, ensuring we meet desired outcomes. Stay informed about on-chain and security technologies, introducing innovative approaches to our security platforms. Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and compliance teams to define and execute product strategies. Engage with client teams and customers to gather and articulate business requirements. Establish and evaluate key performance indicators to guide product development strategies. Bring teams together around a shared vision, ensuring effective execution towards that vision. Qualifications: At least 6 years of experience in product management. Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills. Strong analytical skills, prioritization abilities, and problem-solving capacities. Demonstrated capacity to handle complex technical challenges across a diverse product portfolio. Experience in software product management, particularly with platform products. A genuine passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the mission of Coinbase. An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in fast-paced work environments. Ability to swiftly learn and adapt in complex domains. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with security, privacy, and compliance products. Familiarity with the cryptocurrency industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with international teammates across various time zones.
