THE OPPORTUNITY The Customer Service Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring the preparation and serving of safe and high-quality food. This position requires effective training of crew members to provide excellent customer service, as well as maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Service Leaders must be proactive and ready to assist with various tasks while on shift. WHAT YOU'LL DO Follow Chipotle's policies and procedures while also overseeing key responsibilities including: Ensuring great tasting, high-quality food is served. Addressing food quality concerns promptly. Upholding food safety protocols, including monitoring hand washing, glove changes, and food temperatures. Resolving customer issues to guarantee positive dining experiences. Managing crew member breaks, shift transitions, and scheduling. Facilitating cross-training for all front-of-house crew members. Contributing to crew performance evaluations. Guiding the development of future Customer Service Leaders. Assisting with office administration tasks such as banking, cash handling protocols, and paperwork. Ensuring office equipment is functional and supplies are adequately stocked. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE Ability to understand and communicate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy. Familiarity with cash handling policies and procedures. Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations. Experience with office paperwork and administrative tasks. Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location. A high school diploma. Previous restaurant experience.
