Be a Vital Contributor to Our Health Mission! As a Senior Actuary Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing key Medicaid operations, including financial forecasting, capitation rate assessments, communicating rate advocacy initiatives, and executing detailed business evaluations. Your analytical insights will empower market leadership and executives to formulate effective operational strategies that significantly influence the organization's financial health. In close partnership with the Director, you will ensure critical projects adhere to timelines and that responsibilities are harmoniously shared among team members. This position requires you to apply independent judgment on complex issues while working with a high degree of autonomy. You will also take the lead in establishing and sharing best practices, including peer reviews and documentation procedures. Bring Your Expertise to Make a Difference! Required Qualifications: FSA, MAAA or ASA, MAAA with a relevant advanced degree Bachelor's Degree 8+ years of relevant industry experience Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively Genuine passion for contributing to a dynamic Medicaid team Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of experience in managed Medicaid Deep understanding of capitation rate development and regulatory structures Demonstrated ability to simplify complex actuarial concepts for various audiences Additional Information: This position is remote within the US Limited travel required - approximately 4 times annually (2-3 days per trip) Travel: Occasional visits to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The salary range for this role is $129,300 - $177,800 annually, determined by geographic location and individual qualifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
