GW's Pre-College Program allows high school students to enroll in virtual or residential pre-college programs that expose them to a potential area of academic interest and give them a taste of college life. The Dual Enrollment Program is open to students from public high schools in Washington, D.C. International Summer is a program that welcomes undergraduate and graduate students from partner universities worldwide. The General Non-Degree Program supports students not enrolled in a degree or certificate program through GW but who want to take a class or participate in various special programs. Position Specific SummaryApplications will not be reviewed until January 5th, 2026 The George Washington University Office of Summer and Non-Degree Programs is seeking support for its summer and pre-college programming for audiences that span middle and high school students as well as international undergraduate and graduate students. The Logistics Coordinator (LC) will work with the GW Summer and Non Degree program team by providing logistical, administrative, and planning support to the various programs. The position will be based at the Mount Vernon Campus office and will report to the Assistant Director of Academic Success and Summer Programs. This position may be required to work a non-standard schedule including shifts that begin after 9am and end after 5pm. International Summer Support Serve as a primary point of contact for International Summer students. Liaise with instructors, campus partners, and external groups to coordinate relevant extracurricular activities. Pre-College Logistics Support Support Instructors/Course Assistants; coordinate materials and site visits Admission/Student Engagement Responsibilities Event Support Customer Service/Student Support Date range: February 16 2026 - August 7, 2026; housing and dining included during summer sessions I and II (optional). Standard Position Description The student will serve as an administrative assistant and perform tasks to support the operations of the office or department with limited oversight while completing assignments, projects, and duties. Tasks may also include: lead and organize administrative functions for mid to large scale programs, projects, or events, serve as a key point of contact for departmental inquiries, assist in the management of department or program communications and data entry/reporting, and/or provide oversight and support for student staff and other administrative tasks. Special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs.
