Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions tailored to address issues in communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to provide cohesive care. Equip patients and their families with knowledge and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless healthcare experience. Keep up-to-date documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational standards. Enhance your professional growth by staying informed on the latest developments in the field through continuing education and peer interactions. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited academic institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still awaiting ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days after employment begins.
