Summary: Join Meta as a Data Scientist and play a crucial role in developing innovative products across our wide array of applications, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Oculus. Your deep technical expertise and analytical mindset will be fundamental in crafting engaging experiences for billions of users and millions of businesses worldwide. Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, and Marketing, to tackle significant challenges in product development. Through your insights and data-driven decision-making, you will influence product strategies that create meaningful impacts. Key Responsibilities: Analyze large and complex data sets to solve intricate problems, using a variety of analytical and statistical methods. Apply your technical skills in quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data visualization to formulate impactful product strategies. Evaluate success metrics through goal setting and ongoing monitoring of key product indicators to identify trends. Spot opportunities for product enhancements, providing strategic recommendations to inform roadmaps and drive improvements. Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and other teams to support and execute product strategies based on data insights. Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. At least 2 years of experience in analytics, with proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical software (e.g., R). 2+ years of experience in quantitative problem-solving, analyzing ecosystems, user behaviors, and managing data-driven projects from inception to execution. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
