POSITION OVERVIEW As an Automotive Service Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of Service and Tire Technicians to deliver top-notch service and stellar customer experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and guide the Service Technician and Tire Technician teams, including evaluating performance and facilitating hiring and discipline. Manage workflow in service bays, keeping sales staff informed of wait times. Ensure clear communication between the shop and customers. Oversee vehicle inspections for necessary services and recommendations, ensuring customer satisfaction. Foster a safe workplace by promoting adherence to safety policies. Achieve and exceed performance standards for quality and speed of service. Enhance customer satisfaction by emphasizing service excellence. Encourage teamwork and collaboration among all staff members. Collaborate with sales staff to assist customers and complete additional tasks as needed. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS Previous mechanic experience or experience in automotive service and repair (ASE certifications preferred but not required). Proven management/supervisory experience with strong coaching and leadership skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Motivated, with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented approach. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain its validity. Availability to work Saturdays. Must be authorized to work in the USA and be at least 18 years old. Capable of safely working in environments with mechanical hazards and various weather conditions.
