Requirements: Must be able to pass an onsite TIG welding test Proven experience welding stainless steel Mechanical experience is a plus Must have a valid/active driver's license Pay: $27+/hour, based on experience Title: Experienced Welder (Stainless & Carbon) Schedule: 6am to 4:30pmMon-Thur Location: Pendleton SC Pay Rate: $27-$36/hour, DOE (Depending on Experience About the Opportunity: OpSource has partnered with a global industrial services leader-a $1B company with over 20,000 employees-serving major automotive OEMs and manufacturers worldwide. To support growing demand in North America, we are seeking an experienced Welder to join their expanding team in the Greenville/Upstate South Carolina region. Welder will need to either have certifcation and/or pass a 6G weld test.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret both metric and standard tape measures. Fabricate piping systems accurately from engineered drawings. Take precise field measurements. Weld and fabricate various piping systems including: Carbon Steel Stainless Steel PVC and C-PVC Copper Threaded/screw pipe systems Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality standards in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Requirements:Proficiency in reading tape measures (standard and metric). Skilled in interpreting and working from engineered drawings.
