Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is expanding its Imaging Institute by adding new services and locations to enhance patient care. We are seeking a dedicated Breast Imaging Radiologist for a full-time position as part of our expert team. Highlights: Focus solely on Breast Imaging, with the option to combine another subspecialty if desired. Enjoy the flexibility of working one day per week from home, reading screening mammograms and MRIs, with a provided home workstation. No holiday, evening, or pager call responsibilities. Weekend call options are negotiable and consist of home-based reading of screening mammograms and MRIs. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge technology, a user-friendly PACS system, and a dedicated IT team available 24/7. Contribute to our robust abbreviated MRI program. Engage in a weekly multidisciplinary tumor board for collaborative care with AHN Breast Surgeons and Oncologists. Academic appointments at Drexel University are available for interested candidates. Duties: Deliver comprehensive breast imaging services across AHN facilities, including diagnostic and screening mammography, breast ultrasound, biopsies, and breast MRI. Act as the Lead Interpreting Physician (LIP) for the AHN Breast Imaging Great Lakes region. Qualifications: Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology and compliant with the Mammography Quality Standards Act. Completion of a dedicated breast imaging fellowship (6 months to 1 year) or equivalent experience is required. Engagement in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility is necessary. J1 Waiver candidates are encouraged to apply. A valid Pennsylvania Medical License is required.
