Nephrology - Central New YorkEmployed practice seeks BC/BE Nephrologist to join their team Base salary: $310,000 Join 5 Nephrologists and 2 NPs in practice 100% Nephrology practice Call: 11 weeks/year Consult service only; all patient admissions are through the hospitalist and surgical teams. Typically, 2-5 new consultants per day with an average of 12-17 total patient touches per day. Provide CRRT support, Peritoneal dialysis & hemodialysis to inpatients Can perform kidney biopsies if desired; Interventional Radiology available No outpatient dialysis patients. Dialysis units are owned and operated by the health system Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia - Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.
